creating the group piece

A task that we worked with was "To have extreme contact with each other at all times." and "To have as many people off the floor as possible."To solve this we came up with the solution of a production line for example, as soon as one person looses contact another one joins in. We found that the best result was to be floor based and roll continuously on top of each other, stretching arms and legs out when we could to form some sort of twisted shape. We thought it aided our theme well as it showed the struggle for control.

It has taken a lot of practice to understand where it is best to put limbs and position our weight, and  it is still not as smooth as we would of liked. However we are hoping that this will come with time, and that the intention will come across clearly to the audience.
